HOMECOMING

Your presence fills a space I never knew about
You return my love in ways I've never known
The energy we feast on is my life blood
And time has shown that I am not alone.

The world around is hard, but full of beauty
The love I feel protects me as I roam
Though arrows pierce my heart and fire burns me
I'm happy, safe, secure as I come home.
